What happens during a MIBU™ Korean Lifting Facial?
Each treatment follows the MIBU™ Method, while allowing the practitioner to adapt the facial to your skin on the day.
The treatment begins with hydrocleansing to gently cleanse and refine the skin. This is followed by hands-on fascia and lymphatic techniques, optional professional resurfacing where appropriate, and a customised Activating Essence selected for your skin.
The signature Photo-Compression Therapy™ stage then combines the MIBU™ Lifting Mask with red and near-infrared LED light therapy before the treatment finishes with hydration, barrier support and sun protection.
The MIBU™ Hydrocleansing Technique
The first treatment stage uses MIBU™ Deep Pore Enzyme Powder blended with a selected Activating Essence.
When mixed together, they create a light enzyme cleanse that is massaged over damp skin, with extra attention paid to areas prone to congestion.
Papain provides gentle enzymatic exfoliation to help loosen superficial build-up, while the cleansing system removes surface oil and debris without abrasive scrubbing. The Activating Essence also allows this step to be customised to the direction of the treatment.
The result is clean, refined skin that is ready for the treatment stages that follow.
Skilled hands are part of the treatment
MIBU™ includes fascia and lymphatic techniques designed to work with the superficial tissues of the face.
One of these techniques is Skin Rolling & Gliding, where the skin and superficial tissue are gently lifted, rolled and moved between the fingers to encourage comfortable tissue mobility.
